Your data
Your data stays yours.
Folnaro has no user account and no server for your data. Invoices, receipts and time live on your Mac and, if you like, in your private iCloud.

01
iCloud between your Macs
Sync runs through your private iCloud database. We see none of it. You turn it on or off in Settings.
02
Backups you can restore
Automatic backups to a place you choose. Folnaro checks that a backup can be restored.
03
This website too
No cookies, no tracking, no third-party requests. Fonts and images are served from here.
Why it matters
Invoices, customer data and receipts are sensitive and you have to keep them for years. With an online service your access depends on the provider and your account still being there. With Folnaro they live on your Mac and, if you like, in your private iCloud, backed up to a place you choose.
Good to know
Even without a subscription everything stays readable and exportable: PDF, DATEV, XRechnung, the tax advisor package and backups. Receipts are kept for eight years and books for ten, and you can reach your data for that long.
Questions
Do I need a Folnaro account?
No. Folnaro has no user account and no server for your data. Purchase and subscription run through your Apple Account in the App Store.
What happens to my data after the trial?
It stays yours. Viewing, searching, printing, exporting, backing up and syncing with iCloud keep working, and so does cancelling a wrong invoice. Only creating and finalizing new documents, expenses and time entries needs a subscription or the one-time purchase.
How secure is iCloud sync?
The data runs through the private iCloud database of your Apple Account, and the contents of your records are end-to-end encrypted. Passwords, agent permissions and chosen folders stay on each Mac.
Can I leave Folnaro again?
Yes. You export lists as CSV, documents as PDF and XRechnung, entries for DATEV and the year archive for your tax advisor. That always works, even without a subscription.
